The Hungry Housewives has changed a lot since 2004, but the things that matter to us haven’t. These are the values that guide what we share, the events we host, and the way we hope to leave our community a little better than we found it.

Family

We choose us

We are a four-generation family living together because we choose to. This means there will be disagreements, but …there’s love… and admittedly, cheaper rent for everyone.

People

Our friends

We surround ourselves with those we trust. You might not see them as often as you’d like, and you might drive each other nuts, but we’re there for each other when it counts. My end-of-the-world-crew!

Community

Outside our doors

We believe communities become stronger when neighbors show up for one another. Shopping local, volunteering, helping a neighbor, or simply saying hello all make a difference.

Event

Annual Craft & Vendor Show

We believe every small business deserves the chance to be seen. Our event is about more than shopping- it’s about encouraging entrepreneurs, supporting local makers, and bringing community together. Every booth represents someone’s dream, and we’re proud to create a place where those dreams can be shared, discovered, and supported.

Holidays

Let’s celebrate!

We decorate for Halloween and Christmas because sharing our home makes the holidays even more special. From September through January you’ll usually find our house dressed for the season, and we also host Buckley’s Annual Merry & Bright Christmas Decorating Contest to spread a little extra joy.

Purpose

The Hungry Housewives

Life is better when it’s shared. We celebrate home, community, creativity, and the simple moments that remind us life doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Whether it’s a favorite recipe, home project, event, or story we’re telling, we hope our corner of the internet inspires you to create and connect with others..
