I liked this book since it was a little different. I even recommended my mom read it, too (she liked it also!). It’s about a mentally, and physically, abused woman who thinks there is something dangerous in the woods one morning. When she crosses paths with young people hunting cryptiods, she tries to stress the danger of not only what’s in the woods, but also from her husband. Enjoyable characters, so was surprised what happens along the way. Interesting ending!

About a bunch of kids who have to spend the week in an abandoned amusement park, with the winner getting a big cash prize. You end up rooting for a bunch of the contestants, so it’s not just the main character you feel attached to. I caught what was happening pretty quickly, but still enjoyed the ride. I actually wrote one of the quotes on my FB cover photo “To the youngest generations we’ve tasked with saving us all: You shouldn’t have to”

GREAT BOOK! Funny, as a 50 yr old, that every 60 yr old they come across is “ancient”- even with a creaky grandma voice for one of the neighbors. At 1st thought too close to the book It (children growing up with dark forces in their town that no adults care about), but it was more unique, and I like how the characters were more thoughtful of their families which affected their decisions.
